I have a complete 392 hemi motor that has been sitting in the barn for
a long time , it currently will not turn over so I pulled the heads and
found a mouse condo inside. I soaked the walls down with Gibbs Oil just
this last March but do believe that the amount of rust on the cylinder
walls would indicate it will need to be bored out. I will strap it to a
pallet and give you a commercial address for you to have picked up at.

Description
I sold the blower setup I had listed with this engine, so now I'm
selling just the 392 hemi. It's a disassembled core motor with all the
basics to build a good 392 for your hot rod. Block is a CE57 A-1 block
with stock bores and should clean up fine at .030. The maincaps aren't
the original ones, so it will have to be align bored. The crank is in
good shape and should clean up great with a .010/.010 cut. The heads
are bare, no valves or springs, and the rocker assemblies are in good
shape too. Rods are in good shape, and I have all the tin and a factory
cast iron 4 bbl intake. I also have the front water crossover and a
stock cam. There is no distributor or water pump with the engine. Also
included with the engine is a new set of ARP main studs and ARP rod
bolts, and a new set of Hot Heads hard exhaust valve seats and an oil
bypass plug. I'm located in Deming, NM and willing to deliver this
stuff up to about 300 miles or so for the cost of gas and lunch. I can
also work with you on putting it on a pallet and taking it to El Paso

I have a kit for stock valve cover studs. 5/16 NC stainless
studs,,1-1/4" long with female Allens that are 5/32. (12) Also comes
with (12) stainless flat washers,,and (12) 5/16 stainless nuts. The
nuts take a 9/16 wrench size, which easily fits stock valve covers. I
could not find this kit on Hot Heads website, as these things are about
10 yrs old & they may be discontinued. Still in the original Hot
Heads zip-lock bag, with their buisiness card. Again, I could not

I have for sale a 1957 Dodge D500 Grain Truck. It has a 315 engine with
poly heads and a 2 barrel carb. It does run, but the radiator is bad
and the truck cannot be driven down the road. It has a 4 speed
transmission with an electric 2 speed differential. Second gear is out
on the trans. The engine was overhauled about 5,000 miles ago with new
pistons and rings, bearings, camshaft, crankshaft, and was given a
complete valve job. Both of the exhaust manifolds are cracked. The
original-style oil filter has been updated to a full flow spin-on type.
The hoist is electric powered. I have pictures available upon request.

I am selling the parts to build a blown 392 hemi. I have two C57 A-1
blocks, one has been cracked by the center freezeplug on the side of
the block and professionally welded and does not leak. The other block
has a set of maincaps from a different 392 and will have to be align
bored. Your choice of blocks, both are stock bore and will clean up
easily at .030. I have 3 392 heads to pick from, a full set of stock
rods, stock forged crank that will easily clean up at .010 on the rods
& mains, stock crossover/thermostat housing, all the tin, a new set
of Arias .030 over forged blower pistons still in the box, a new set of
ARP main studs and ARP rod bolts, and a new set of Accel solid core
plug wires. The blower setup consists of a Holley 392 blower manifold,
a GMC 6-71 blower (unpolished) reworked w/ Mike Kuhl endplates and
bearings, Weiand dual four carb adapter plate, and blower drive
assembly w/three 1/2" pitch pulleys. The only thing lacking on the
drive is a crank hub for the 392. I also have 3 Holley 1850 carbs that
can be used to build two carbs for this engine that I will throw in
too. I do not have gaskets, bearings , rings, timing set, distributor
or cam & lifters, although I do have a good stock cam core that
would be good for a regrind. Wanting $3500 firm for everything (w/ 1
block and 2 heads). I am in Deming N.M. (100 miles west of El Paso Tx.
on I-10) and would be willing to deliver this anywhere in a 300 mile
radius for 50 cents a mile one way, otherwise shipping or pickup would
be your responsibility. I can be contacted at the above email address

the same ad about 4 months ago and a guy in Colorado said he wanted the
engine for sure, then strung me along for some time before
disappearing! If someone wants me to hold this stuff for them they will

money first. I hate to be this way, but I had 3 or 4 other guys
