I picked up a 1952 long casting 331 Chrysler Hemi complete for a project, but have decided to go in another direction. I will give you as much information about the engine as I can, but you can also contact me via phone if you have further questions.
I was told the motor was pulled from a running driving vehicle, But I do know the engine was in dry indoor storage for many years prior to me purchasing it from the last owner. I disassembled the upper end for inspection, here is whatI found:
Heads: everything appears to be in working order, heads will need to be gone through, but there are no signs of repairs. Rocker arms and shafts were functional when the motor was rolled over.
Pistons are stamped .040, and it appears that new rod bearings were installed.
Cylinder walls: It is my belief that this motor will need to be bored to .060 over, or a cheaper piston option may be to bore to a standard 354 bore which is very likely to be possible on these castings. There was minor pitting that cleaned up, but no major rust or pitting. It will need to be bored, like I stated above, but no visible issues other than that.
Crank: the crank is still in the block, and has not been removed for inspection, but moved freely and easily while turning the motor over. I found no broken bolts or other evidence of any failed engine parts.
I have all the pushrods setup with which cylinder they came from, as well as all the bolts/part bagged/boxed. Everything that came with the motor is going with this sale including the distributor, valve covers, intake manifold, carb (2bbl), oil pan, and wires with original ceramic plug insulators. The starter is with the motor, I do not have a generator.
I was told the transmission was taken from a working vehicle, The motor is also now up for sale. Casting number from the engine was for a 1952, I assume the transmission is original from 52. This is the 3 speed manual - semi auto transmission. Everything is complete, with drum break on output shaft, and also the fluid drive torque converter. Trade 65 Dodge A100 shorty van and tons of parts for early dodge/chrysler hemi.
I have a 1965 Dodge A100 90" wheel base window van for trade. It has been repainted once. It was originally from California and has never seen road salt. There is absolutely No undercarriage or rocker rust. It has a tiny amount on the A pillars and some in the drip rail around the roof edge. It is very fixable. I also have a spare front floor section and a ton of other extra parts.
The van is not running currently. The doghouse is removed and the engine is out. I have a rebuilt Slant Six 225 out of a '74 Duster that has been gone through already. It is on an engine stand and ready to go in.
I have several transmissions that go with the van. I have a 727 and a short tailshaft kit that's still in the crate. I also have the 904 from the Duster and an A745 3spd Heavy Duty manual transmission. I've swapped an automatic column into the van from a donor, and converted the pedal cluster. I still have the manual linkages, column, and pedals, however. I have the dash shifter and cable to finish the auto conversion. I also have a brand-new torque converter in the box, as well as another good one with a drain plug.
The stock radiator was replaced with a new 3-core high performance aluminum radiator and an air-dam was added between it and the belly pan to improve cooling. I also added a thermostatically controlled electric fan for additional cooling. I have a new stock radiator with a built-in transmission cooler as well.
I have multiple intake manifolds and carburetors that go with the van, a good stock single-barrel setup, a new water heated Clifford intake manifold, a new Weber progressive carb and a Holley 2BBL carb.
I have a good stock cast exhaust manifold as well as a set of Clifford headers. The van has a new custom 2.5" dual-exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and chrome tips.
I have a factory points ignition setup, a good Pertronix ignition system, and a brand new Mopar orange box ignition system as well.
The front shocks were just replaced with new KYB gas-a-just units. The suspension and steering have all new bushings and are nice and tight. It has all been gone through.
The gas tank has been cleaned and re-lined. The fuel gauge works. (as do all the other gauges.) An extra dash cluster and chrome bezel is included. (With an oil pressure gauge instead of the warning light.)
The bumpers are straight, front and rear. It also has a fiberglass visor and a roof rack. The door and window seals were replaced, as well as the windshield rubber and glass.
The van was running and driving last summer; it shouldn't take much to get it back on the road. All of the extra bits listed above go with the van. I'm sure there is a ton I'm forgetting, if you have questions, ask. I have a clear title in hand. Search the NH craigslist for Dodge A100 and there are pics posted.

I have a nice restored 1967 VW beetle for trade. 70K original miles. Needs nothing. runs and drives great. It is currently registered and inspected. It has the original H case single port engine and four speed manual trans. Everything works. Has an accessory gas heater, but it's not hooked up. The stock heater boxes work just fine, however. The car is originally from Colorado and has not seen road salt. It was repainted and received a new interior by the previous owner.
Last summer it had an engine rebuild, new mounts, intake manifold, starter, carb, fuel pump, fuel lines, plugs, wires, rotor, coil, condenser, generator, axle boots, spring plate bushings, tie-rods, coker whitewalls, repainted rims, rear-view mirror, restored sapphire radio, a bunch new rubber seals, correct vw flasher relay, turn signal switch, horn, and a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting.

For Sale Set of 8 NOS Toledo Diatrol cast aluminum pistons. Can't read the info on the box but L1086 is cast inside the piston. I found that number in an old book that said 3.625 bore 315 Dodge but these measure 3.710 nominal. May be over bore for the 315 or 325 Dodge Hemi. Specs are 3.710 dia. .920 pin. comp. dis. 1.75. I'm selling couple fully overhauled Dodge 325 c.i. Hemi heads, which feature 3-angle valve jobs, hardened valve seats, stainless steel valves, new springs/keepers, and exhaust porting. Also included are completely overhauled rocker assemblies, with new re-curved rocker faces, and a set of head bolts. And, I'm including chromed: valve covers, valley pan, and timing chain cover; these pieces were chromed a long time ago, but still show fine, altho the chroming on the lower area of the timing chain cover is rather thin (but that area is not readily seen, once it is installed on a car). Finally, I'm including the 315/325 Hemi-head driver's side exhaust manifold, which is match ported.
Together, as-are, these pieces are a bargain at $2,250.00, plus shipping costs to anywhere in the world. Payment (Other than by credit card/Paypal, etc) can vary, but money will clear my bank before shipping of these pieces occurs.
